- 1 bag (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- In a large saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and salt. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from the heat.
