🦀 For the Cajun Aioli:

  • 3 tbsp Creole, Cajun, or whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1 ½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning
  • ½ tsp each garlic powder & onion powder
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

🧅 For the Veggie Mix:

  • ½ cup finely minced shallots
  • 1 cup minced red bell pepper
  • 1 cup minced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup minced yellow and/or orange bell pepper
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions

🦐 For the Pasta:

  • 1 lb pasta (linguine, penne, or bowtie)
  • 12–16 oz claw crab meat (such as Phillips)
  • Additional Tony’s seasoning, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, rinse lightly, and set aside.

2. Make the Aioli Sauce

In a large bowl, combine mayo, mustard, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, and all seasonings (Tony’s, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and optional cayenne).

Mix until smooth and well blended.

3. Add the Veggies & Crab

Stir in all the finely chopped veggies and herbs (shallots, peppers, celery, parsley, and green onions).

Gently fold in the crab meat, being careful not to break it up too much.

4. Assemble the Pasta

Add the warm, drained pasta to the bowl and toss everything together.

Season with additional Tony’s seasoning to taste.

Mix until the pasta is well-coated with creamy Cajun goodness.

📝 Notes & Tips

Want it warm? Heat the assembled pasta gently over low heat just before serving.

Add shrimp or crawfish for even more seafood flavor.

Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta to suit your dietary needs.
