🛒 Ingredients
For the Seasoning Blend:
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1½ tsp sazon
- ½ tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tbsp onion powder
- ½ tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp ground thyme
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper (adjust to spice level)
For the Meat Sauce:
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3–4 tbsp minced garlic
- 5–7 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 14 oz can Italian-style petite diced tomatoes
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 14–28 oz water (depending on desired sauce thickness)
- 2–3 tbsp tomato bouillon powder
- Sugar to taste
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- Parmesan rind (optional)
- 2 bay leaves
For the Pasta:
- 1½ boxes thin spaghetti noodles
- Salted water for boiling
- Freshly grated Parmesan, for serving
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Sauté Aromatics
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add diced onions and green peppers. Cook until soft and translucent.
Add minced garlic and a dash of salt. Cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
2. Brown the Meat
Add ground beef or turkey and Italian sausage.
Break apart with a spatula and cook until halfway browned.
Stir in your spaghetti seasoning and cook until meat is fully browned.
3. Build the Sauce
Add Worcestershire sauce and stir.
Stir in tomato paste and let it cook down for 3–4 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, and water. Stir well.
4. Simmer & Season
Stir in tomato bouillon powder, sugar (to taste), and more salt/pepper if needed.

Add heavy cream, Parmesan rind (if using), and bay leaves.

Remove the bay leaves and Parmesan rind.
Stir in cooked spaghetti noodles until well combined.
