📝 Ingredients

  • 3–4 turkey wings, separated at the joints
  • 1/2 cup homemade jerk marinade (with dark soy sauce for deeper flavor)
  • 2 tsp jerk dry seasoning (salt-free, blend of spices & herbs)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 habanero pepper (or Scotch bonnet, if available — poked for flavor)

🍳 Instructions

Prep Veggies & Marinade:

Slice green onions, red and green bell peppers.

If using homemade jerk marinade with dark soy sauce, expect a deeper color and richer flavor.

Marinate the Turkey Wings:

Coat turkey wings generously with jerk marinade.

Add jerk dry seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Tuck in the sliced veggies and poke your habanero pepper. Let it all marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight if you can!).

Bake Covered:

Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).

Cover the turkey wings tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Flip & Bake Uncovered:

Remove from oven, flip the wings, and return to the oven uncovered.

Bake for another 45 minutes to 1 hour or until turkey is tender and caramelized.

Serve:

Spoon over the peppers and pan juices.

Enjoy with rice, plantains, or veggies!
