Parmesan Crusted Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds steak, cut into bite-sized cubes (sirloin or ribeye recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup provolone cheese, diced into small cubes
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing

Instructions

1. Sear the Steak

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the butter and let it melt completely.
  • Toss in the steak bites and season with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  • Cook to your preferred doneness (about 3–5 minutes, depending on size).

2. Make the Crust Mixture

  • In a small bowl, combine:
    • Panko bread crumbs
    • Shredded Parmesan
    • Diced provolone
    • Ranch dressing
  • Mix until well combined and slightly sticky.

3. Crust and Broil

  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the cooked steak bites.
  • Transfer the skillet (or move steak bites to an oven-safe dish) to the broiler.
  • Broil on high for 6–7 minutes, or until the topping is melted and golden brown.

4. Serve and Enjoy!

  • Remove from oven, let rest a minute or two, and serve hot.
  • Great with toothpicks for parties or over mashed potatoes for a full meal!

Tips & Variations

  • Make it spicy: Add crushed red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the cheese mix.
  • Cheese swaps: Try mozzarella, fontina, or pepper jack instead of provolone.
  • No broiler? Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes until bubbly and browned.

Storage & Reheating

  • Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat: Warm in the oven at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, or air fry until hot and crispy.
