Ingredients
For the Patties:
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup red bell pepper, diced

- Black pepper
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Beef bouillon powder

- Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
- Montreal steak seasoning

For the Gravy:
- 3 packets brown gravy mix
- 1 tablespoon Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Instructions
1. Sauté the Veggies
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, onions, and peppers, and cook until soft and fragrant. Set aside to cool.
2. Mix the Patties
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, all seasonings, the Lipton soup mix, and your cooled veggie mixture. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.
3. Form & Bake
Shape the mixture into 8 oval-shaped patties. Place them in a baking pan (not a sheet pan) and bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes. Once done, drain the grease.
4. Make the Gravy
While the steaks bake, prepare the brown gravy according to packet directions. Then season it with seasoned salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
5. Final Bake
Pour the gravy over the cooked Salisbury steaks. Return to the oven and bake for another 15–20 minutes at 350°F.
