🍖 How to Make Juicy Spare Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 slabs of spare ribs
  • Olive oil
  • Yellow mustard
  • Brown sugar
  • Rib seasoning blend (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce (we used Pearson’s BBQ Sauce — hands down the best)

Instructions:

Prep the Ribs:
Remove the membrane and excess fat from the back of your ribs.

Season:
Rub them with olive oil and mustard. Coat generously with brown sugar and dry seasonings.

Bake:
Place in a pan, top with chopped onions, cover tightly with foil, and bake at 325°F for 2 hours.

Sauce + Finish:
Remove juice, brush with BBQ sauce, and return to oven uncovered for 20 minutes. Ribs should be falling off the bone!


🥗 Salmon Macaroni Salad

Ingredients:

  • Elbow macaroni (boiled in chicken bouillon)
  • 2 cups mayo
  • 6 boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 small cooked salmon filet, flaked (sub tuna if preferred)
  • ⅓ cup red onions
  • ⅓ cup chopped celery
  • 1 red pimento pepper, diced
  • ⅓ cup sweet relish
  • 4 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • Seasonings to taste (paprika, garlic, salt, pepper)

Directions:

Cook the pasta in chicken bouillon water for extra flavor.

Mix everything in a large bowl until creamy.

Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.


🍲 Barbecue Baked Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • ½ pack Jimmy Dean sausage
  • 2 large cans baked beans
  • 1 onion + 1 bell pepper, sautéed
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • ⅓ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ stick butter

Directions:

Brown meat with onions and bell pepper, season well.

Mix everything together in a baking dish and top with butter.

Bake covered at 350°F for 35 minutes.


🥬 Southern Green Beans with Smoked Neck Bones

Ingredients:

  • Smoked neck bones
  • Fresh green beans, snapped
  • Seasonings to taste
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • ½ stick butter

Directions:

  1. Simmer neck bones for 1 hour with your favorite seasonings.
  2. Add green beans, butter, and vinegar. Cover and steam until tender.

🍞 Honey Butter Cornbread (Quick Fix)

Make your favorite cornbread mix and serve warm with a slab of honey butter:

  • ½ stick softened butter + 2 tbsp honey
