Quick Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Rolls (Semi-Homemade & So Easy!)

📋 Ingredients

For the Rolls:

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8-count or jumbo-style)
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

For the Toasted Pecans:

  • ¾ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

For the Caramel Sauce:

  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter (added at the end)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep & Bake the Rolls

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the cinnamon rolls in a greased cast iron skillet or baking dish.

Pour ½ cup whipping cream over and around the rolls.

Bake for 18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.

2. Toast the Pecans

While the rolls bake, toast pecans in a skillet with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over medium heat.

Stir for 3–5 minutes until fragrant and slightly caramelized. Set aside.

3. Make the Caramel Sauce

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, whipping cream, and cinnamon.

Stir constantly for about 5 minutes until bubbling and slightly thickened.

Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add butter, stir until smooth, then fold in the toasted pecans.

If sauce is runny, let it sit for 15–20 minutes to thicken up naturally.

4. Assemble & Serve

Pour the warm caramel pecan sauce over the freshly baked cinnamon rolls.

Serve immediately while gooey and warm!

🍬 Tips & Variations

  • No condensed milk? Try using caramel bits or store-bought caramel with a splash of cream.
  • Want more filling? Unroll each cinnamon roll and add a sprinkle of extra brown sugar + cinnamon before baking.
  • Crispier pecans? Toast them separately and sprinkle on top just before serving.
